Although I have a heart of a poet and I have written many songs. I want to use my this talent to go high. Is it possible to a song writer without any knowledge of music.Who can assist me.? thanks is anticipation.

I’m not in any way musically inclined so I know next to nothing about what you actually need to know to get into the business, let alone for Hindi films. Since you said you’ve written many songs, then I’m sure you don’t have to have a knowledge of music. It would probably help a great deal, though, and make things easier for you in the future. Being able to read music, knowing the musical jargon, etc., will be very helpful when you’re instructing musicians. Like I said, I know zilch about this stuff, so my opinion, I’m sure, isn’t that much help. But hey, having some education in music couldn’t hurt, right? And it’s not very hard to learn the basics, at least.
